A little bit about me...I have been teaching for 27 years--24 of them right here at PJHS! Over the years, I have taught English, literature, art, and theatre, and I am also the theatre club director and produce our school productions. Oregon is where I grew up, but I have lived in the South for over 30 years. My husband, James, is a science teacher here at PJHS. He is also an excellent cook. YUM.
I have two daughters. Syndal, 31, is married to my son-in-law Justin Miller, and is a stay-at-home mom and homeschool teacher to my super-cute grandkids, Liam (9,) Sarella (6,) and Cal (5 months.) My other daughter, Skylar, is 21 and lives in Dallas, Texas, working as a daycare director. She and her husband Francisco are expecting my next grandbaby, Sophia, in October! I love reading (mysteries/thrillers are my favorite), watching crime dramas, and camping. I also like to participate in local theatre, both as an actor and director. I am the president of Prattville's Way Off Broadway theatre board of directors and am directing there as well. I don't play video games, but I am a total nerd who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, and musical theatre.
