A little bit about me...I have been teaching for 26 years--23 of them right here at PJHS! Over the years I have taught English, literature, art, and theatre, and I am also the theatre club director and produce our school productions.Oregon is where I grew up, but I have lived in the South for almost 30 years.My husband, James, is a science teacher and coach.He is also an excellent cook. YUM.
I have two daughters. Syndal, 30, is married to my son-in-law Justin Miller, and is a stay-at-home mom and homeschool teacher to my super-cute grandkids, Liam (8) and Sarella (5.)My other daughter, Skylar, is 20 and lives in Texas where she is working toward a career in cosmetology.She is a gifted singer and plays guitar and ukelele!I love reading (mysteries/ thrillers are my favorite), watching crime dramas, and camping!I also like to participate in local theatre as an actor and director.I am the president of Prattville's Way Off Broadway theatre board of directors and am directing there as well.In addition, I'm also the chair of the Alabama Conference of Theatre's Theatre for Youth division.I don't play video games, but I am a total nerd who loves Star Wars, Star Trek, and musical theatre.
