I am thrilled to be a part of a winning team at Prattville Junior High School!

I am a native of Panama City, Florida; however, I lived in southeast Alabama for many years before attending college at Troy State University (B.S., Elementary Ed) and at Auburn University (M.Ed., Special Education / Emotional & Behavior Disorders).  I later received my Administrative Certification and an Ed.S. from the University of Nebraska/Kearney.  This Fall begins my 24th year in education and I still LOVE it.  I have been fortunate to work for Autauga County Schools for the past 16 years and look forward to continuing the tradition of excellence!! 

In 1995, I married Jeff Stockman.  After successfully teaching Math for 7 years, Mr. Stockman is an Assistant Principal at Pine Level Elementary and I am proud to partner with him for our students!  We have twin boys in 11th grade that  provide hours of entertainment and great stories for future use.  I love my family!!!

I am a closet nerd, a runner, a reader, a writer, a talker, and a believer.  I love high heels, Diet Coke, and traveling to new places.  I am a huge proponent of the process of education and absolutely love what public school stands for.  I believe that educators are akin to missionaries and am very passionate about what we provide for students and for our community.  It is truly my honor and privilege to step through the doors of Cat Country each day!  I'm looking forward to an incredible year!
